Congratulations...
Just wanted to share this 'Congratulations' card. I've used the new 'Brocade' design from Pink Petticoat. in sand and cream which matches perfectly with the beautiful champagne pure silk ribbon from The Ribbon Girl.. It's so easy to achieve a perfect bow and adds a touch of luxury to any card. I think I need some more colours!
Off now to get my supplies ready - Shimelle's Learn Something New Every Day starts tomorrow! I feel I'll be learning a lot this September, I'm on Jury Service for 2 weeks!

Hand Carved Stamps...
A couple of weeks ago I was invited to spend an evening of crafting at The Make Lounge in Islington, North London, courtesy of Snapfish.
About 12 of us crafty types enjoyed a private workshop in how to make hand carved stamps. Taught by the lovely and very talented Zeena Shah.
I kept my design simple with some lollipop flowers and a leaf. We used Speedy Carve, which I've never seen before, it's so easy to to use, not like the lino we used to carve at school.
A fun evening in a great venue, learning a new skill and making new friends! What more could a crafty girl want, oh I forgot, a goody bag to take home too!
Check out some photos of the evening on Crafty Makes and Cos I Like Making Stuff
